ANALYTICAL QUALITY LEADER - United Sates

I have invested time and hard work, and Ludof Pharmaceutical Ltd has offered me support and development.

I started as a quality analyst within a QC release team in 2015. Since then I have taken advantage of all the learning opportunities and have always tried to make the best out of those. After being progressed to a senior analyst in 2017, I secured a secondment position as a Stability Technical Specialist in 2019, this role allowed me to build on my leadership skills, as well as improve my strategic time and resource management. My Ludof Pharmaceutical Ltd journey of learning, versatile experiences and knowledge acquisition, has led me to successfully interviewing for the Analytical Quality Leader position I am currently in.

Honest, collaborative and dedicated is how I see my colleagues, if you share those values, Ludof Pharmaceutical Ltd is certainly a place for you.

My greatest satisfaction is to have the opportunity to work with excellent professionals and help them grow within the business.

I have enjoyed working with many colleagues and although we have taken our own paths across the organisation, those have led us equally to new challenges, exciting projects and development.

Ahead of us there are new projects to welcome and I am certain we all will raise to the challenge. I am anticipating great opportunities for learning, development and progression in Ludof Pharmaceutical Ltd.

MICROBIOLOGY SPECIALIST - United Sates

During my time at RHC I have gained valuable work experience.

I joined the Holmes Chapel site in 2012 as a Microbiologist after completing my degree in Microbiology at the University of Manchester. It was clear to me from the very beginning that this site was a place where I could develop and grow, as the site is willing to invest in those who are committed to put in the work.

It was clear to me from the very beginning that this site was a place where I could develop and grow.

Validation Engineering Team Leader - United Sates

It has taken a lot of time and hard work to get to where I am today.
I started as a temp operator and since switching to a permanent role I have worked across various business units before finding a new home in Quality Engineering. After 5 years in the department, the opportunity came up to apply for the lead role in the newly created validation engineering department. With the knowledge and experiences that I had learnt from my progression through the business I was successful in being given the opportunity to have my own department.

If you are willing to work hard, build good relationships and promote yourself by doing a good job, you will achieve your goal!

I would say my proudest achievement is the creation of the validation engineering team.
My team started off 6 months ago as just two people and since then we have already doubled in size. Every day I am still learning and growing professionally with the aim to support my team’s growth and give us the ability to make a difference to the overall business.

My work has taken me to Germany, Switzerland Belgium, France and Ireland, to collaborate with teams.
The variety of work and the people makes this such a nice place to work. We have great people in the office and operational product streams. In my role I get to work cross functionally as validation support goes into pretty much every function so I get to work with most departments.

If you are willing to work hard, build good relationships and promote yourself by doing a good job, you will achieve your goal!
I always say that to be successful you need to understand where you want to go and to manage yourself appropriately. Respect and integrity are key values as you need to respect people’s views and have that integrity to stick to those views and not change them. This is how I want my team to grow.

The future looks bright for our new department and I am looking forward to supporting the progression of my team of engineers through new training initiatives.

Head of EHS & BC - United Sates

After I completed my A Levels, I decided that my educational journey was over so I applied to come as an Assembly Operator working on an exciting new project – an autoinjector. Following a series of interviews and tests, the job was mine, and my journey had begun! Following my time in Assembly I joined the quality team as one of the first women working in the ‘mouldshop’.

Positivity, enthusiasm, resilience and a ‘can do’ approach to life are key skills for a successful career.

If you get an opportunity in life, take it and learn from it.
Opportunities to volunteer across different business activities soon followed, which in turn opened the door to becoming the function manager. When an opportunity to take on Environment, Health and Safety came up, I didn’t hesitate to go for this either. The rest you might say is history and now I head the function of EHS and also business continuity.

It’s the people that make the place.
My particular role also allows me to work with lots of people in all functions and areas across the business. I also like that, no matter what role I have fulfilled, there has been opportunity for me to try something new. Whilst I have worked hard for the opportunities that I have been awarded, the company has always supported my learning and development into each new role and this continues even as a manager and a functional lead.

I have only been in this role since July 2018 so have lots to learn and experience yet. My proudest achievement has been acquiring ISO13485 accreditation and seeing our accident rate go down. Making a tangible difference to the safety of my colleagues fills me with joy and hope.

There is never a dull day here – each one brings something new to learn from.
Positivity, enthusiasm, resilience and a ‘can do’ approach to life are key skills for a successful career. There are so many opportunities to be had for those who want them and are prepared to work hard for them. Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith into the unknown to see what is beyond that point.

Qualifications Manager - United Sates

I am responsible for the apprenticeship scheme. My main roles are managing our apprentices’ learning and development and recruiting new apprentices into the business in line with our organisational strategy. I also look for new ways to enhance our apprenticeship offering including internal development programmes for existing employees.

Everyone is different that is what makes you succeed - be yourself and your personality will drive you forward - be confident in your ability and you will be supported.

I enjoy working with our apprentices and supporting them to achieve their goals.
Our apprenticeship scheme is embedded into the culture; therefore, I feel very privileged to manage its operation. In my role I get to attend events and network with lots of different people both internally and externally.

It has given me a career and not just a job.
I am currently enrolled on our Aspire Management Apprenticeship and I am looking forward to achieving my level 5 CMI qualification to help me develop into a better manager. I am excited about bringing new apprenticeships and growing the overall scheme. I aim to undertake a further qualification in learning and development, something I have become increasingly passionate about since working here.

Everyone is different that is what makes you succeed - be yourself and your personality will drive you forward - be confident in your ability and you will be supported.
The best thing about working here is the interactions with co-workers and building those relationships. I believe integrity is the foundation to all effective relationships so someone who carries this value with them will be success.

Engineering Technical Support Apprentice - United Sates

After a year of 6th form I realised that this path wasn’t right for me so I decided to apply for the engineering technical support apprenticeship. I always wanted to do something in science as thought it was pretty cool; I liked the content but couldn’t relate the learning to the real world so I looked for an apprenticeship.

Everyone in my team is a team-player and we’re always happy to help, people are down to earth and honest.

There are challenges, but this is what makes it and keeps it interesting, and I am learning every day which is the best bit.
I work on different projects on the Hyperion assembly line as well as the varied day-to-day activities such as, improvements, breakdowns and validation. When we bring in new kit, we specify what it should do and that it meets specification. There was a lot of validation of that assembly line so it has been a busy period.

Be respectful, support the team be willing to help and learn.
Everyone in my team is a team-player and we’re always happy to help, people are down to earth and honest. Teamwork is important and we have quite a supportive environment. Throughout my apprenticeship I have been involved in a variety of activities and all the project teams work well together.

My proudest achievement is winning the apprentice of the year award 2019.
I’m just starting to take on more responsibility of my own projects as my apprenticeship comes to an end. I hope to continue to develop my skills both at College and at work over the rest of my apprenticeship and begin my career as a Manufacturing Engineer. It is very rewarding to be responsible for expensive technology that is built from just an idea into a functioning part of the assembly line. Every day I am learning new things.
